Ensembles Seeking New Members


There is an urgent need for band/ensemble musicians that play the following instruments:

Maplewood Concert Band

  • Oboe
  • Bassoon
  • Bass Clarinet
  • Trumpets
  • Horn
  • Trombones (tenor & bass)
  • Tuba
  • Percussion (timpani, mallets)


MapleWoodWinds (wind quintet)


Jackson Square (Dixieland band)


Please review the Open Positions page and notify the manager if you know of any eligible musicians.


Open Staff Positions


MCM needs volunteers for the following staff positions. Volunteers need not be musicians or members of MCM.

  • Committee Chair - Development (Fundraising)
  • Committee Chair - Marketing
  • Manager - Public Relations
  • Manager - Community/Youth Engagement (develop, manage and support town and school music-enrichment programs)
  • Grants Writer
  • Manager - Stage/Equipment/Inventory - Concert Band
  • Photographer
  • Videographer
  • Recording Engineer (to make decent recordings of our performances for analysis. Amateurs welcome.)
