Bloch plays alto saxophone with the concert band and is eager to perform with the 38 eighth-graders who make up the Maplewood Middle School Wind Ensemble, all of whom had Bloch as a teacher during their first year of instruction.

“I am so excited to see how my students have grown up,” Bloch said. “Usually, I see them for one year in fifth grade and then send them off to the middle school. I am really looking forward to being on stage with them again.”
